Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
John, thank you, thank you, thank you, for the wonderful information you gave me. I will tell you what I know about the SCHWAN family, and it isn't much.
Hoka Namon Schwan, 1880-1958, emigrated from Lebanon to Windsor, Canada to visit her uncle, accompanied by her first cousin, Lotifie. She came to St. Louis to visit Lotifie's brother and while there, met and married Kalel. Her father and brother, George 1880-1937 soon emigrated from Lebanon as well. Her first name was changed to "Helen." She's buried at Rose Hill Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK.
George married Senoria (?) and their children were Adele S., Julie, Genevieve, Raymond, Joseph, and George. That's all I know. I wonder, can you fill in any "blanks," correct, or verify any of the data I have. Thanks again for what you have already told me, John!
