Thanks for responding. I haven't gotten the family tree from Amy yet, but I will probably need help reading it..thanks for offering.

I have a book called A Brief History Of The Saleeby-Saliba Clan and Their Branches, by Najeeb Saleeby. It was published (in english) in 1950. The book states that the Saleeby & Saliba families are the same family. It seems that Saleeby was the original name, but somewhere along the line, some of the people took the name Saliba. It also says that one name is the Christian name and one name is the Muslim name.
