Hello Michael, the Saleeby Familly in Lebanon is mainly from the Gharb region. Villages like Souk El Gharb, Bhamdoun, Bhouwarah, Btalloun etc. There are many in the USA, I think the biggest concentration is in the Carolinas. There is a book about the familly with a tree, and Kamal Salibi, the famous Lebanese historian has written about it in his History of Lebanon. My great grandmother is a Salibi and there are many interesting characters in the familly. There is a thesis at AUB about the Lebanon Schools founded by Salibis in the 1840's. Let me know if you are looking for anything specific.
