dear Gisel,

My grandfather was Abraham Alam,from
Zahle. My grandmother Fadue Habay, from Syria.
They came to Brazil in 1910.
I'd like to know what 'Alam'means in Arabic. I've met people who told me it means
"flag" others say it's "people".
Can you help?
I'm Brazilian, 32 Years Old and an English
teacher and interpreter.

Thank you very much! Alex Alam
