Marhaba Adel,

I saw a geneology posting regarding the Haykel/Haikel/Heikel family in Lebanon.

I am searching for Abdullah Haykel beleived to be born 2 JUNE 1768
he was married to Fairuze George Shofany

children were:
Giries Abdullah Karram b. Nazareth 1780
Bascal Abdullah Karram b. 4/14/1793
Mousa Abdullah Karram b. 8/15/1792
Foleen Abdullah Karram b. 10/21/1795
Rose Abdullah Karram b. 3/2/1796
Mirian Abdullah Karram b. 10/9/1797

The above dates are from church records but the space between them makes them a little
questionable. I doubt most the date of Giries his children began being born about 1810 (1810,
1813, 1816, 1818, 1822), maybe he was born closer to 1790.

In Nazareth they were Roman Catholics but I would assume that in Lebanon they were
Maronite. The family tradition has it that the name was changed because they had a large
amount of land/gardens.

I have descendants of Giries & Mousa up to the present for many lines.

If you or anyone in the family might know anything about Abdullah, your assistance would
greatly be appreciated.

Shokran!

Norma Karram
