Hello, I was randomly scrolling and I came across your post. My paternal grandmother's surname was Moses (or, Moussa in Lebanon). Her father's name was Joseph, and her Mother's name was Imani (Amani?). Imani's maiden name was Khalifi, I believe They were from the area of Mt. Lebanon to which you refereed, and immigrated in the late 1800's. They were maronite christians. I believe their exact village was called Jaj. Anyways, they emmigrated from Lebanon to Philadelphia area during te late 1800s.

Maybe this can help you. Let me know if this rings any bells.
