Looking for ancestors/relatives of my Father, Louis Charles Bohorfoush, Sr. born in Zahle in December 0f 1903. He was the son of Kahlil and Nazera Atol Bohorfoush and the Grandson of Barbara Boackle.
Kahlil and Nazera came to the US about 1900 and she had several miscarriages. Legend says the she received a message from the Virgin Mary that, if she would return to the old country, she would have a son, then return to the US and have 3 more children, which she did.
Family lore says the Barbara Boackle worked 100 hour weeks baking bread and selling it door to door to send her 4 sons to America for a better life. When the last son left, she went to a convent where she devoted the rest of her life to serving God.
