Jorge Chajin of Beirut, Lebanon

A friend of mine, Janeth (Chajin) Tarpley, who is a Spanish teacher at a private school in Maine USA, is looking for information on her family roots. Her grandfather was Jorge Chajin. He left Beirut during WWI on a shipping vessel from one of the ports and settled in Colombia. He was a cloth merchant. Janeth's father was Christian Chajin and was born Jan. 10, 1934 in Colombia and her mother's first name was Celia. She had an uncle by the name of Yerye Chajin who died 5 or 10 years ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Connie from Woolwich, Maine
