My grandmother was Rose/Wardy Mansour/Monsour from Lebanon. I notice that the name Mansour is very popular as both given and surname in Lebanon as well as the Middle East. Is it of Lebanese/Middle Eastern origin, or is it taken from the French name Monsieur? Could the Monsours be French?
