I know a Lebanese family that goes by the surname Nolan. Since this is an Irish name with Gaelic origins, I can only assume that their Lebanese name was changed to Nolan upon immigrating to the U.S. My question is: Does anyone know of a Lebanese name that would be a close counterpart to the Irish name Nolan.
