Hello Ayiana
I forgot to tell you that classic(written Arabic) is pronounced differently than spoken, so Corban would be pronounced as (Orbein),so what probably had happened is that your grandparents,or great grand parents when asked had pronounced likewise(Orbein)and with time or for a reason or another dropped the (R)so it became Aubin, and don't forget that vowels could be written in different ways in different languages and people,EX. My family name is (Jardak)but different people when pronounced pronounce the vowel(a)differently,so now my cousins are Jardak, mine is (jerdak),my brothers are (Jurdak)
