The word Massoud means,Pleased, joyous, good humored, delighted, content, it could be a family name, but most commonly a very old first name, moderinised Lebanese society don't use it anymore, unless as a family name, however
Habib means(lover, the loved one,the liked one,the dear)this word could be used to show how you feel about a brother or a father or a son or any dear person to your heart,so you call him (Habibi)which is a word used by all means by Lebanese people on daily basis,so you would meet a friend that will ask you for ex.so how are you habibi?
and the vowel (i)at the end indicates the possesive property like saying my house,my dear friend or so.
and thus it doesn't mean herb.
