Samaha is a very popular family name in Lebanon,however it is pronounced in classical(written)and spoken as (Smeha)
but maybe because it was hard to pronounce the (S) as silent before a vowel then they wrote it the way you know it.because Arabic vowels could be of confusion to those
that are writin it in a foreign language.
