Hi Catherine. There is no doubt we are related. As a kid I recall fondly my "Uncle Pete and Aunt Rose" from Norfolk, visiting our house in W-B. I loved Rose's accent (me being a Northerner). Although we didn't see them much, due to the distance, and I didn't know them very well, they did seem like very sweet people. Rose often called us kids her "honey child." I know my grandmother Mamie, and your great-grandfather, Pete, were close. The last time I saw Pete and Rose, was when we visited their house on "Virginia Beach" in 1973 or 74. My grandmother was Mamie Decker (Pete's sister). Their youngest sibling Ann still lives in Wilkes-Barre, in the original George & Catherine Decker home. I have some family detail on a website, but not very much on the Decker side. Send me your email and i will add you to it. My email is korey13@optonline or korey@us.ibm.com.

I believe your great-grandparent, Peter Decker, was the son of George and Catherine Decker of Wilkes-Barre, PA. I have a photo of George and Catherine, somewhere in one of the albums.

Your cousin, Jerry
