Lebanese & Syrians in Wiltshire, England in 1951???

Hi

I am looking for my birth father. All I know is what my DNA can tell me. It says my family line's origins are Lebanon, or Syria! But that could have been waaay back in antiquity. however my DNA is apparently almost unheard of in the UK, I am J1 halotype, with CMH, 22/22 at YCA11a/YCA11b, 16 at YCA388 and 10 at YCA391. Which all kind of backs up the Lebanon link, apparently.

Does anyone know if there were any Lebanese & Syrians in Wiltshire, England in 1951??? Perhaps doing some military service during a posting to the UK?

If my father is still alive he would be in his late 70s or early 80s.

Yes, I know this is a long shot.

regards,

RouX
