Hi,my grandfather came to the U.S. from Dier El Harf Lebanon,not sure what year.His name was Joseph Abou-Jaoude,
then it was changed to Jowdy then to Jody.He was born 1865 died 1929 .He married Dona Johnson.From what I understand he was some kind of herb Doctor.He either died in laural co,Ky.or Lexington,Ky. I`ve not been able to find where he is buried. I would like to know more about him if any one knows anything.He came over here with brothers or cousins...I think maybe Moses,Ben,Thomas,John,Nick......
