Hello, I am trying find ancestors who came from Lebanon, and came to Detroit, Michigan, USA. Because of the constant name changes it is very difficultto trace.
They came to the states bet 1909-1920, can't find them on passenger lists. Born in Beruit. American names are Amelia or Jamelia Peters b 7/1/1883 who married Sergus Moses John(s)age of 23-29 b 1879, had three children in Lebanon, their names are Madaline John born in Beruit, James John Sergus b1910 in Beruit d1974, Detroit, MI USA, Joseph John born in Beruit died in USA who went by the name of Patrick d1966 Detroit, MI. USA. Out of nine children total only one is left, my huband's Aunt Sadie is very elderly. She said they never asked questions when their parents were alive and would really like to have a Family Tree for herself and for her boys and their children, with facts about the country when her parents and older sibblings lived there. Please can anyone help.
