Wardy's family still leaving in Zahleh-Lebanon. My grandfather Khalil WARDY (I don't know if he is a parent of Assaf WARDY) have 10 children (7 girls and 3 boys). My mother was Adele WARDY. The 3 boys emigrated to Sydney when they where young and lived perhaps 10 years in Australia (with one of their sister : Evelyne) and returned to Zahleh in the sixties. They have a very big business in the city. From the 10 children only 3 are alive (Aziz, Mona and Evelyne).
Concerning our grandmother, perhaps her name is BAABDATI (this family lives in Zahleh) and the name means "he or she is from Baabdate" witch is a lebaneese village.
