I was just surfing not looking for anything in particular .I saw that you were interested in the name Wassaf/Wasaff. My Grandmother's maid name was Wassaf. Her name was Marian Wassaf. Of course when they immigrated all sorts of spellings were used. She was married toGeorge Younis. They immigrated to Gaudeloupe the French West Indies in 1900.
My Mom mentioned that she had an uncle who lived in Texas and his sons were lawyers. After WW11 I beleive for some reason my grandmother lost touch with them. Does the name Kaddis Wassaf mean anything to you. My cousins who are Karams have been on the hunt for the last 2 years trying to put things together. I will have to drag out my old family tree that I compiled myself from "Oral history" wracking my brains to remember all my parent told me. Hope this helps you.JB
