Nahim,

A Barkett here! :)

There are a lot of Barketts in Ohio and Pennsylvania. There is also another large Barkett family in Florida. One of them (Rosemary) is a prominent justice of the peace.

My grandfather Thomas used to be called Barakat or Baraket (Are these interchangeable in Lebanese Arabic?) and he married my grandmother, Victoria (Jorge?) and they had 12 more Barketts!

I'm kinda young and 2nd generation American so I don't know many details or proper spellings. I couldn't be prouder to be a Barkett, to be of Lebanese descent, and to have the Jorge/Jorgge name in my past, and I know that every member of my HUGE family agrees! :)
