Thanks for your response. Yes Les was my grandfather. I met your parents Victor & Vera in Mackay. They were lovely people. I believe Victor owned a shoe store?
I am 49 years of age and live with my wife Patricia, who was a Secondary School teacher, in Brisbane. I am a Civil Engineer with BHP.
Years ago I attempted to produce a Batros family tree, got a fair way but stalled due to work commitments. Also I am unsure how the names Batros and Andrews are connected. I would really like to develop the family tree further. Perhaps I could summarise the key details and you and others add to it through followups on this site or via email to me.
