Hello Marilyn:

The information I have is that My Grandmother's sister, Mariam Issah left Hardeen in 1914 and travelled by ship. The story is that there was a newlywed couple from a neighboring village of Nehah, Georjius Moosah and his wife Lateefey. They travelled by ship in the lowest classification of travel known as steerage. I was told that Lateefey and my great aut Mariam (Mary) saw alot of each other and that this was the Moses family in Richmond, VA
