I'm interested in the Helou family history you wrote about that goes back 700 years. My family name is Elhilow, but my Lebanese grandfather always pronounced it like Hilu, which he said meant Arabic for sweet. The name was butchered by Ellis Island officials. My family was from Jezzine, Lebanon.
