Aboukheir/Mady/DeirEl Kamar/Zahleh/1800s

I'm looking from information on my great grandfather's family and ancestors and his wife's family and ancestors. My great grandfather Tanios Habib Aboukheir's father was named Habib, and his mother was Saada Mady, and they were from Zahleh or thereabouts. Tanios was born in 1885. His wife, Marie Mady, was either from Zahleh or Deir El Kamar, or both, her father was Charles T. Mady, probably born 1867/68, and her mother was Helena Naima. So far that is the limit to how far back I can go in my family tree. I know that both families were Christian, and there's a story in my family about Charles T. Mady, who as a baby, lived in a village that was in revolt against the turks, and the turks came into the town and offered a truce, if everyone would go to the church and surrender their weapons, but the rumour got out that the turks were slaughtering all the men in the town and Charles T. Mady's mother dressed him in girl's clothing to save his life. I do not know enough history to know of any towns in lebanon that had such scuffles with the turks, or how much of this story is true. Anyone who has any information, please e-mail me. Thank you.
