Glenn (assuming you use your lst name, not your middle name as I do):
I am inclined to believe your Samuel Miller was a brother of our John Miller which would account for carrying on the name "Samuel" because their Father would have been Samuel Miller, b. Myerstown, Lebanon Co. and their Grandfather, Hendrich (sp?)Miller. I am of the opinion that Hendrich was a Hessian mercenary captured at the Battle of Monmouth whose real name was probably Hendrich Mueller. I wish we could make progress with these first two males of our line in the U.S., at least dob/d's. My line: John Miller (1800-1868), Simon Miller (1826-1892), Samuel Haas Miller (1870-1929), Lloyd Samuel Miller (1897-1950), Lloyd Samuel Miller, Jr.(B.1930)
