John Leathers, born Missouri, married Minerva Margaret Collier of Pendleton County, KY. Minerva was the daughter of James Walter and Melinda Casey Collier (born ca. 1817).
John and Minerva went to Hubbard City, Texas, and in 1930 lived next to Charlie and Irene Leathers.
This information came to me from a Collier descendent who states that she has no idea which John Leathers this is. I have been unable to find him among my Northern Kentucky family, descendents of Paul Leathers and Margaret Clore of the Germanna Colony. Does anyone know who he is???
