I have only five children for John and Catherine, not to say there wasn't more.

Elizabeth, b. Oct. 14, 1812, OH, d. Sept. 28, 1873. She md. in 1835 to David N. Lawson, b. abt. 1810, VA, d. 1875. They had 5 children. They are in the 1850 census, Pebble Twp., Pike Co., OH.

James, b. 1813, OH, md. Dec. 19, 1841, Pike Co., OH to Mary Walls, b. 1820, Pike Co., OH, d. bef 1874. They had 3 children. They are in the 1850 census, Pebble Twp., Pike Co., OH.


Cornelius, b. 1818, OH, d. bef 1880, md. Nov. 26, 1841, Pike Co., OH to Matilda Walls, b. Apr. 1820, OH. (Matilda and Mary were sisters). Cornelius and Matilda had 8 children. They are in the 1850 census, Pebble Twp., Pike Co., OH.

Harriet, b. 1820, OH, md. Sept. 19, 1839, Pike Co., OH to John Henry Lawson, b. abt 1818, OH (I don't know if John and David are related). They had 4 children. They are in the 1850 census, Pebble Twp., Pike Co., OH.

John, Jr., b. Dec. 9, 1822, Waverly, Pike Co., OH, d. Dec. 17, 1900, Harrison Twp., Paulding Co., OH, md. Apr. 21, 1844, Pike Co., OH to Nancy Dorothy Walls, b. May 9, 1826, Pike Co., OH, d. Feb. 26, 1906, Payne, Paulding Co., OH. Nancy is a sister to Matilda and Mary. John and Nancy had 12 children. They are in the 1850 and 1860 census, Pebble Twp., Pike Co., OH. In 1880 they are in Harrison Twp., Paulding Co., OH. 1900 they are in Paulding Co.

In the 1840 OH census there is a John Leeth in Pebble Twp., Pike Co., OH: 1 male 50-60, 1 male 40-50, 2 males 20-30, 1 male 15-20, 1 female 50-60, 1 female 40-50, 1 female 20-30, 1 female 15-20, 1 female 10-15, 1 female 5-10, and 1 female 0-5. In the 1850 Pebble Twp. census, there is a Mary Wakeman in the household, age 10, b. OH in John's household.
