My husband is a descendant of Peter LeSueur, but his one cousin tells him the spelling is supposed to be actually Leisure, and all of his dad's sisters and brothers were supposedly Leisure, with the exception of my father-in-law, becasue it was spelled wrong on the birth certificate. His father's great grandfather was Perry Washington Lazear/Leisure/Leasure. I gave you all the spellings I have as that is what is in the genealogy book that his cousin did. All very confusing, but I do know that they were French Hugeunots.
