I have information for you. My grandmother is Bonita (Bonnie) a daughter of Chris. She has some correcting information for you.
Abraham married a Leona Gardner
Hattie married a Gus Shook
Chris b. July 1, 1911 Married Dorthy Gardner (Abrahams sister-in-law)
Berthas husband William Richie rode on San Juan Hill with Roosevelt and was decorated for it and given a plaque signed by Teddy himself.
Charles was one of the first postmen in Ohio and he rode a mule 27 miles everyday.
There was infact a Joe Leasure.
Chris had five children.
Creola (It was said in family that she was named after an old girlfriend)(Deceased)
Bonita (living in Texas)
Chris (Deceased)
Sharon (also in Texas)
Barbara (Deceased)
Most of the family, including grandparents (Charles and Anna), along with children and siblings are burried at Locust Grove Church on Trail Run, Monroe Country, Ohio.
She says that her uncle John had researched our family tree and we are actually French Aristocracy. He had the whole line looked up. The Leasure name was chased out of France around the time of the French Revolution because they did not support the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church seen the Leasure name as a threat because we had alot of influence hence we dispersed. Some went to Ireland some went straight to the U.S. She says we have family who faught in every war since the U.S. got started. As you can tell, I dont have all the names and proof but what she said, thats the part I'm looking for. Any help would be appreciated.
