Just 2 days ago I was in the Bald Hill Cemetery (in Pa but near Hazen, Md) where some Leasures are buried. There is a Thomas Leasure 1798-JUly 13, 1884 with wife Mary 1809- April 30, 1898. Others in cemetery are William Leasure 1763-1827 and wife Phoebe Leasure 1759-1857 (the parents, I guess)and children/siblings Cebret (Seibert?) Leasure 1788-1854, Phoebe Leasure 1795-1861, Prudence Leasure 1792-1851,(i've seen those names on the 1850 census for Bedford Cty, Cumberland Valley Twp. Elizabeth Leasure Hall (my ggggrandmother no birth year died 10/26/1857 at age 45 after producing 13 children is also buried there. I have a 1963 write up of the cemetery with many names now indeciperable. Will share info upon request, would like to know about ancestors of William Leasure 1763-1827 as i'm new to researching the Leasures.
