Friends: I sent to Ohio for a copy of the will & estate inventory of Daniel Leas 1778-1856, my ancestor. I received it, then loaned it to a Leas cousin in 2002 without making a photocopy. She has since died.
Does anyone have a copy of his will or inventory? Or can you tell me how to get another copy? I do have a list of all money owed him by thirteen relatives & others at gus death in 1856. I need to get the will & complete inventory of goods. A sale of his household goods was held on 13 August, 1856 in Lewisburgh, OH.
