Thanks for the offer -- I know and appreciate the extra time you will spend on this.

I have never been sure how thorough Eugenia's search was for records of Learned's in England. I have a sense, and I don't know why, that not a lot of effort was expended in the search.

Thanks also for the reminder about sources. As I get more involved in my research I realize just how easy it is to get sidetracked and how important primary sources are to one's research. Thanks again. Joanne
