This is what I have about Christian Jagi/Jaggi/Yockey.
P.103 "18th Century Emigrants from the Northern Alsace to America" by Annette Kunselmann Bergert...
Christian arrived in Philadelphia, Pa. Oct.31, 1738 on ship
"William".
Moselem Lutheran Church Book, Berks Co., Pa...Christian Jace (Jacki), single, son of Christian Jace, married Nov. 11, 1745, Maria Catharina Christ, dau. of Christian Heinrich Christ.
I have that Maria Catharina Christ was born in Hatten, No. Alsace, France.
Also, that Christian Yockey was born in St. Stephens, Canton of Bern, Switzerland.
The name was spelled Yorkey in Caldwell's "History of Indiana Co., Pa.-1888".
Children that I have for Christian & Anna Catharina Yockey are:Christian, b. 3 Nov. 1747; Abraham, b. ca. 1750; Maria Barbara, b. ca. 1753; Peter, b. ca. 1760; Susannah, b. 6 Mar.1761; Henry, b. ca. 1763; & Jacob, b. ca. 1767.
I don't have the name of either Maria Catharina's or Christian's mother.
