Interested in further information as well as learning who the ancestors of the following were:
John LEAR b. 1801 PA death unkn and Sarah PERRY b. 1807 death unkn. John and Sarah were married December 01, 1825 in Muskingum County, OH. They had 11 children: James Perry, John B., Sullivan G., Rachel, Alexander, Thomas Jefferson, Jonathon, Sarah Elizabeth, George Washington, Alwilda, and Mary LEAR. All of these children born between 1827 and 1851 in Blue Rock or Harrison Townships in Muskingum Co., OH. I have some of their spouses and children also.
Working on ancestors of:
Elwood Manning LEAR b. August 1901 Morgan Co.? OH ...d. 1955.
Elwood's parents:
John Perry LEAR b. April 1856 Morgan Co. and died 1911 Muskingum Co. Oh and (2)Ida BONIFANT born 1868 in Belmont Co., and died 1947 in Muskingum Co., OH. (They had two children..Elwood and Clara Wilda Lear.)
JOHN Perry LEAR was married previously. His first wife was Sarah E. MITCHELL born in 1861, death unknown and they had 3 children, Estella S., John W. and Perry L. LEAR.
John's parents:
JAMES Perry LEAR and Sarah JEWETT. James being born 1827 Muskingum Co., death unkn and Sarah born 1836 and death unkn. James and Sarah were married November 23, 1854.
James Perry LEAR's parents were:
JOHN LEAR and Sarah PERRY..
Also need more info on Alexander b. 1838, Jonathon b. 1843, and George Washington Lear b. 1847. (Just to clarify..John and Sarah's son Thomas Jefferson LEAR also had a son he named George Washington LEAR..he was born, however, in 1882) Thanks...
