i live in washington court house ohio i am a direct desendent of jacob and lydia leaming of wilmington ohio. jacob had several children. one of his sons went to live in indiana. i will ask my mom when i talk to her again. i have alot of leaming history to share. but do not know how much you would like to know. jacob leaming was a teacher and farmer. he settled in clinton county ohio. he developed a hybrid of corn.. he won a gold medal for his hard work in paris france in the 1880's . his son peter david went on to win a silver and a bronze medal for the same corn. i have several pictures of the leaming family... i hope i can help. the farm of jacob and lydia was located around which is now airbornexpress.
