Jasmine,
My Grandmother's maiden name (on my Father's side) was Mary Leal Manica or Mary Manica Leal. I understand the Portuguese sometimes switched their names around to avoid confusion. She was born in Clarksburg, CA (at that time a small community just outside of Sacramento, CA). Any relation?
