Hi, I posted this reply to Arturo Leal but decided to repost it as a new posting so that others might see it and might want to add to it.

Hi Arturo, I was going through the postings and saw your somewhat old posting. I decided to tell you a story. My father was O negative which is the blood that is supposed to be able to mix with others as you say. First, let me say I am no expert in this matter but am just relaying what was told to my father by a doctor. My father saw on the news when we lived in Los Angeles that a woman with 0 negative blood was in a terrible accident and needed people to donate blood since it is not a common blood type. My father immediately went and gave his blood. The doctor told him it was rare but my father informed him that where he came from (General Bravo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico)that it was quite common (I guess because most of the people there were related in some way). The doctor took down the name of the town in case there was ever a need to get some more blood. I am just wondering how true it is that many of the original people from Gen. Bravo have 0 negative blood. My brother and sister both inherited the negative 0 blood type. Just a bit of information.

I forgot to add one thing, with 0 negative blood, they can give to any person (from what I understand) but they can only receive 0 negative blood.
