My third greatgrandparents were John Leake and Sally Holland, of Cartersville, Georgia. Thanks to this message board, and to other sources, I've learned much about them. During the Civil War, when Sherman's army was marching through Cartersville, the Leake plantation was used as a headquarters for two of his generals. This has made me curious about the name, and current condition, of this same plantion house.
