Hi Robert,

Would you email me privately please? I corresponded with Frank Rutherford about this last August.
I'd thought this William Leake, Jr. who was murdered was REVEREND William Leake, Jr. and was ready to change the death dates but Frank set the record straight for me. The one who was murdered in Oct 1812 was son of Bryant, brother to Reverend William who died in Oct 1814.
I'm in Texas so can't check the Laurens County court house records in person but would love to exchange notes with you.
