In reviewing the Leake Family and Connecting Lines, I cam across something that has confused me and hope that others can straighten me out. My great-grandmother was Effie Richardson Leake, who was married to Thomas H. Jackson, Jr. I had always thought that he father was Pembroke S[omerset] Leake by Jane Elizabeth Carden.
However, p. 33 of the aforementioned book suggests that Effie was the daughter of Pembroke G. Leake and Jane Carden and that Pembroke S. Leake was married to Bessie Patch. If you skip forward to p. 46, it states that Pembroke Somerset Leake was married to Jane Carden. Can anyone help me get the correct Pembroke Leake?
