Does anyone know what the following means? I've checked the signers of the Declaration of Independence, and William Leake is not there. Could this be a Virginia State document they're talking about? "Signer of the Declaration of Independence, promulgated by citizens of Albemarle County, VA, 4/21/1779, original being preserved in Virginia Historical Society, Richmond, VA."
