I would very much appreciate hearing from any one who might have any information on the following people who at times were in Stokes Co. and Rockingham Co. of N. C. and Henry Co., Va.:
Thomas Leak, b.10 Jun 1756, d. 1 Mar 1811, m. Catherine Payne 10 Jan 1784.
Garland Leak, son of Thomas Leak (above), b, 20 Feb 1787, d. 22 May 1856,
m. (1)Polly Rae 13 Oct 1817; children: Joe Henry Leak, b. 6 Jun 1818, David R. Leak, b. 21 Aug 1821, and Nancy Leak b. 3 sep 1822.
m. (2) Harriet Doyle 13 Feb 1826; children: Agnes Virginia Leak.
Joe Henry Leak (above) m. Mary Shaw 14 Sep 1841.
Agnes Virginia Leak (above) m. Josephus Bonapart Vaughn 24 Apr 1843.
David R. Leak (above) m. Sarah T. Petree 21 Dec 1843 and had the following children: Thomas F Leak, b. 1845, John M. Leak, b. 1847, and Nancy B. Leak. b. 1850.
David Leak moved into the area of Mecklenburg Co., N. C. in the latter part of 1800.
