Hi !
I've found Ida in the Swedish census of 1890. Her full name was Ida Wilhelmina and she was born 1890 in Ore (W). Her father was Hans Hansson Löf, b. 1863 in Ore (W), and he was a soldier. Her mother was Greta Ersdotter, b. 1866 in Ore (W). Ida had two sisters: Anna Josefina (b. 1886 in Ore (W)) and Alma Cecilia (b. 1888 in Ore (W)). The family lived in Näset, Ore (W) in 1890.
The emigration data base Emigranten 2001 claims that Hans and Greta who until then lived in Ore (W) left Sweden by boat from Göteborg on Apr 18, 1902. The children who migrated with them were: Anna Josefina (16y), Erik A (9y), Eva J (4y), Hans G (1y) and Ida W (11y). Their final destination was Anoka, Minnesota.
I don't know if this is interesting, but in 1907 a man called Bror Löf (18y) left Ore (W) and moved to Mullan, Idaho. Five years later Johan Löf (26y) from the same place also moved to Mullan.
Ore is a parish situated in a township (swedish: kommun) called Rättvik in county of Dalarna. Hansson in this case means the son of Hans and Ersdotter is the daughter of Erik.
(W) = county of Dalarna (it was called Kopparberg until recently)
This is all I have. From my own experience I would recommend you to post on the Sweden forum in the future. Many people check that forum every day. This forum is seldom read.
