I have found a few things showing a link between Lawrence and Elizabeth:
#1 From "Salem in the Seventeenth Century" by Phillips:
Appendix C: Members of the First Church: From 1636 to 1651
Leach, Lawrence d.f. c.f. 1629 *
Leach, Elizabeth
(both were listed as members in 1636)
*d.f. = desired to be freemen in 1630
c.f. = came in the fleet of 1629
#2 From "History of Essex County, Massachusetts Vol. 2"
-under Manchester-
"Lawrence Leach came to Salem from Devons, England in 1628; with his wife and two children."
#3(most compelling)
From "History of Beverly, Massachusetts" by Stone
"June 24, 1662, Lawerence Leach died, aged 82. He was proposed for a freeman at Salem in 1630 and was a member of Salem church before 1636, when the town granted him 100 acres of land. He had four sons, Clement, Richard, John and Robert*. Clement Married and lived in England. Richard died in 1647, and left a son, John, who inherited the estate of his grandfather at Rial-Side, known as "Leach Farm". Robert* left a son, Robert*, who was living in 1695. Lawrence Leach held various offices in Salem. The usefulness of his life gained respect for his memory. HIS WIDOW ELIZABETH, died about 1674."
*incidentally, that's my line!
I may have more, but, I'm not sure.
That's all I could quickly find with me right now.
Let me know if you know something different.
