It's great to make a connection. This has been a hard line to trace. The following is my line:
My grandfather was Killis Harper, s/o Joseph "Joe" Harper and Fannie Bell Lee. He married Drucilla Carman and they had 15 children.

*Note: I found a marriage record for John Lea and Mary Ann Barnett in Jefferson Co., marriage records that I believe to be this John and Mary dated 21 Aug 1858. In 1860 John is living nextdoor to Jasper Lee and two doors from Wm Lee, age 42.
I have John's parents as Leander Lea, SR. and Martha Maples. I would appreciate any corrections and/or additions.
My grandmother told my mother that we were related to the line of Gen. Robert E. Lee. Have you found any truth to that in our line of Lee/Lea?
