Le Cene to De Cessna to Sisney
Posted by: Therese Sisney (ID *****3217) Date: January 20, 2007 at 22:14:23

I am for information on two Le Cene families that were possibly Huguenots that fled Europe and settled in the Lancaster County, Pennsylvania area. Jean Le Cene was one of these me.

Le Cene is possibly an English version of De Cessna.

In our family tree there is some great confusion as to whether Jean Le Cene and the Count Jean De Cessna were either brothers and the name change came during their emmigration to America, or even possibly the same men.

Any information Jean Le Cene and his descendents would be most helpful!

Thanks! Therese
