There is some history of the Lazzell/Lazzelle Family in "The 175th Anniversary of the Formation of Monongalia County, West Virginia and other Relative Historical Data," Monongalia Historical Society, 1954, pgs. 428-429. It is included under biographical information about 'The Judge I. G. Lazzelle Family.' It goes back to Thomas Lazzelle and his wife, Hannah Beck.
