Just to satisfy your posting as I am not related, this from 1881 census
Vessel:       "Antelope" (probably a fishing smack at Cliffe Kent)
Albert LAYZELL               M       39 b.Brightlingsea, Essex, England       Master
Albet Edward LAYZELL              U       17 b.Brightlingsea, Essex, England       O. S.
Walter James LAYZELL              U       14 b.Brightlingsea, Essex, England       O. S.
There were others in Brightlingsea,later dates
