My great grandfathers name was Charles Ignatius Lazar (circa 1890 - 1900). According to relatives, he was of royalty and came from Debrecen, Hungary. He left the country for th US with a young woman named Mary Chontos. They had aproximately 16 children with one by the name of Steven. I don't believe this is who you are looking for, but maybe your family could be linked to my Great Grandfather. It's also possible the name was changed when he arrived. Look forward to your response.
