Hi Beverly, there was a Thomas Layton in Prince William Co. VA around 1737-39, he was a chain carrier and witnessed several deeds etc. I supect he was the Father of my Robert Layton b. Prince William Co. VA July 1, 1746. Can you tell me more about your Thomas?
